Anti-oxidant เป็นสารเคมีที่เติมลงไปเพื่อช่วยป้องกันการเสื่อมสภาพของยาง อันเนื่องมาจากปัจจัยต่างๆ เช่น ออกซิเจน, ความร้อน และแสงแดด เป็นต้น มักนิยมใส่ในงานยางสีที่เน้นสีสันสวยงาม แต่ไม่นิยมใส่ในยางสีดา ทั้งนี้ Anti-oxidants ยังช่วยป้องกันการเกิดสีตกและสีปนกันในยาง ซึ่งสามารถใส่ได้ทั้งในยางก้อน และน้ำยาง (ถุงมือ,ลูกโป่ง) ได้อีกด้วย
